Over the years, they've become a type of family heirloom that we cherish and value.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI leapt at the opportunity to paint them and have made several cards and a calendar from the photographic references I took over several months. We know each one of them has a story, but most of those tales are lost to time's impact on memory. It was important to me to visually express the delicacy, beauty, and meaning we have imbued on these simple items we love so much.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis card will be a favorite of tea drinkers, as well as lovers of solitude and quiet and ritual.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis 5\"x7\" card features a cup with daffodils of yellow among leafy green stems. Light is reflected on the porcelain. The tan paper texture of the background wraps around the spine of the card. It comes with a white envelope.
