These images were created as a set, intended for print including calendars, coasters, t-shirts and small flip books. Done entirely in Procreate on an iPad Pro, these pieces were intended to capture the extraordinary in the every day farm animal. Each illustration focuses on one animal that might be found on a farm, lifts them from a typical context they might be normally featured within, and shifts them to a fantastical veneer of magic and royalty. Framed within guilded filigree, each portrait suggests a deeper connotation to their typical exterior.
