      This numbered, limited edition 11x17" print is an original piece inspired by the fauna of Humboldt County, specifically the Marbled Godwit and oysters. Both inspire local festivals for bird watching and the oyster harvest. The print is in a style reminiscent of Art Nouveau but heavily textured with the appearance of a canvas background and multiple layers of paint.

      This piece was awarded an Honorable Mention at the Redwood Art Association's North Coast Lens show in the summer of 2025.

      The image was done entirely by hand in Procreate, without any use of generate AI imagery. It is Human-Made, created in Eureka, California in Humboldt County. It is printed in-studio individually using an 8-color dye-based ink printer on 80lb/215gsm professional matte double-sided photo paper by Inkpress, which brings out the lustrous colors and detail. The image is printed full-bleed, meaning it covers the entire surface of the paper without any margin around the edges.

      Mat and Frame are not included.

      Limited Edition Prints

      No more than 30 of these prints will ever be made at this size. Greeting card versions of it are for sale, but the true magic and splendor of this piece can only be appreciated in this large proportion. This print is proudly offered as the true end result of the artist's intent, and no other sizes are offered.

      Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity on the back of the print itself, including the artist signature, print number number, and date of the original piece.

        This print was illustrated by me, Corey Johnston, using Procreate on the iPad in his studio in Eureka, California. it has been rendered painstakingly one stroke at a time with no filters or AI involved.

      • Custom Made

        It may take me 3-5 days to print and ship the item. Given the postal delivery service, it may be upwards of 5-10 days after that before you receive the item.

      • Ships to You Safe

        Each print is shipped flat in a sealed plastic sleeve which is sandwiched between six layers of chipboard within a 13"x18" rigid mailer to help mitigate the chance of bending.
