      This piece depicts a moment from the fairytale, The Three Little Pigs. It was inspired by the work of Margaret Macdonald Mackintosh, a member of the Glasgow Four who were pioneers in the Scottish version of Art Nouveau, and influential on other artists, like Klimt.

      This hand-made greeting card features the portraits of three brother pigs, framed beneath symbolic representations of their house materials, with the overpowering presence of a wolf's glowing eyes at the top of the image, all done in an antiqued paper illustration style framed in Art Nouveau filigree. It is printed individually by the artist in the studio and is packaged in a clear plastic sleeve with a resealable adhesive flap closure. 

      It's perfect for fans of narrative art, storytelling moments, and fairytales.

      Beautiful Hand-Drawn Images

      This greeting card set is illustrated digitally by me, Corey Johnston, in Procreate on my 12” iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil. Each card is rendered painstakingly one stroke at a time with no filters or AI involved. Using licensed reference imagery from Unsplash.com, I redraw each image with the lighting and colors I want for the overall impression of its intended use as a greeting card.

      I then print each card set as it’s ordered, in my studio on a Pixma Pro 200 8-color dye-based printer. I package each set up and mail it out myself.

        This is a handmade greeting card that measures 5x7 inches in size. A matching envelope is included.

        The card is packaged in a clear plastic sealed envelope with a cardboard packing insert to keep it flat and crisp, and mailed in a cardboard mailer.

        Each card is printed in-studio individually using an 8-color dye-based ink printer on 80lb/215gsm professional matte double-sided photo paper.
